Delighted to be given some preview images by Slovenian based OFIS architects of their latest commission – a stadium for FC Bate Borisov, of Belarus.
It is interesting to see the effective use of coloured seating units which brilliantly links together all sides of the stadium in long streamer like stripes and softens the space to prevent the seating area from becoming over dominant or blocky - despite that fact that has a capacity of 13,000.
I wonder if the striped seating will inspire fans to wear Paul Smith scarfs rather than their normal team scarfs!
