As we search for that fine balance between work and lifestyle, perhaps a stay at The Balancing Barn will help put things in perspective!
Living Architecture, an organization devoted to the experience of modern architecture, commissioned MVRDV to design a traditional barn shaped building in the heart of the Suffolk countryside. Along with Mole Architects from Cambridge acting as executive architects and Studio Makkink & Bey from Amsterdam who collaborated on the interior, the team have created a traditional barn shaped building to reflect the local building vernacular but with a thoroughly modern take.
The barn which is available to rent has surely fine- tuned that perfect balance we all crave on holiday – a restful but exciting place to stay!
