Inspired by Enzo Mari’s ability to pare down and refine everyday objects and transform them into design icons, designer Marti Guixe has created a set of four “Pie Graphics” depicting elements of Italian design giant, Danese’s production.
With the use of striking colour combinations Guixe conveys specific messages about Danese’s production in design, architecture, light and food design. While each of the four domains are represented by a “pie”, every “piece of pie” symbolizes an important aspect of that domain.
The Pie Graphics have been printed onto a cotton canvas measuring 112 cm square - a wonderfully strong visual for a contemporary interior which will lead to hours of conversation about the language of colour.
