Interiors stylist Kate Baxter chose Valtti paint for her room set at Grand Designs Live.

Kate Baxter who has worked for Elle Decoration and Wallpaper Magazine used one of our Gothic colours, Adoration Grey for her fashion inspired room-set at Grand Designs Live.

She looked at how fashion and catwalk trends reflect in our interiors and took “a step back to the days when women dress makers made their own clothing” The room she has created “is the epitome of an old English workroom with a boudoir twist”. She has used heritage furniture, vintage clothes and trinkets to set the mood. The deep tones in “Adoration Grey” complement perfectly the Vivienne Westwood wall covering also selected for the room.

Grand Designs Live at London’s Excel Exhibition Centre. runs until 9th May 2010.
