Ever thought of taking a walk around a commercial dock to find colour inspiration?
Docks and harbours can be one of the most rewarding places to seek out new colour combinations. Ships are often immaculately painted in order to protect their bodies from the harsh effects of salt and extreme weather. A constantly changing set of colour combinations emerge as ships come and go from around the world.
This beautifully painted ship recently docked at Rosyth in Fife, a fine example of the most trusty colour combos around – blue & white ought to be classed as a National Treasure!
