Valtti at 100 percent Design London

An exciting week for Valtti and it's Liquidimagination range of interior paints as we showcase one of our brand new colours on a very unusual exhibit at 100% Design!

This year 100% Design is installing a special exhibition called "The Bike Feature". This is an exhibition of creativity and design around the bicycle and cycling culture. No one has escaped the rising tide of enthusiasm around cycling and the result is fresh creativity and imagination being released in and around the diverse approaches to bike design.

The Bike Feature at 100% Design London, conceived and produced by JAM (100% Design's Creative Team for 2009 and 2010) is a showcase of leading bike design as well as experimental exhibits. On Sunday there will be a series of informal talks by exhibitors and bike experts alike.

Valtti will be showcasing their Liquid imagination brand by displaying a revamped 1940's military bike. The paint used was developed in Finland after the 2nd World War occupation to offer Finnish citizens a sustainable way to personalize left over army bikes. Born out of necessity, painting bikes has since become a Finnish tradition.

Not wanting to give too much away ahead of the opening, I am only showing you a small detail of our 1940's bike above!
