New Feelings Exterior Paint added to range
With the new year updates to our website now finished we thought that it was important to also keep our portfolio of products up to date, so we added a new product to the Liquid Imagination family!

Having launched the new site and paint range last year we thought it was about time to do a bit of updating! In conjunction with Whitespace we have been busy building in loads of new pages and functionality to help our clients buy paint and find out about the latest trends in colour and design.
Niki has been working hard on getting the designer talk section populated and there is now some really good stuff on there. Keep a tab on it as there are going to be some pretty good guest bloggers over the coming months.
Scotland on Sunday
Our first bit of proper PR! We were kindly mentioned by Ian and Jen in the "at home" section last week of the Scotland on Sunday newspaper.
Having helped the couple with a few colour choices it was very good of them to give us a mention when detailing the suppliers they used to renovate their stunning Georgian town house. This project was completed towards the end of last year and the use of Greys and modern whites really enabled the couple to give the property a very classic feel with a totally contemporary look.
Addition of exterior paint to the Liquid imagination range
Having spent most of our 25 years in the business painting buildings outside w thought it was only right to add and exterior paint to the liquid imagination range.
Opaque is a highly durable microporous paint that will adhere to timber and masonry substrates without any trouble. This product has been tested extensively over the past 18 years so we know it works just have a look at the case studies section at www.valtti.co.uk.
New recruit for 2009
Following on from the launch of our retail and design range of paints last year we have been very surprised by the level of interest in the products.
This being the case we have had to employ our first new member of staff this year, Niki has an extensive background in the interiors industry and will be running our Liquid Imagination range. Whether you want to spruce up your bedroom or renovate a hotel, Niki is the point of contact for everything design related.
10B Oxford Terrace is finished!
We have just completed the final room in our first Liquid Imagination project. 10B Oxford Terrace is the fantastic home of Jen and Ian who together over the past 7 months have sympathetically renovated and transformed their property into one of the best New Town conversions we have seen.
Light greys and off whites from the Liquid Imagination range coupled with different sheen levels have been used throughout giving a very contemporary feel to the classical Georgian rooms.

Belford Muse is ready for launch.
After much deliberation and consideration we have now put the finishing touches to The Penthouse at Belford Mews.
This 5000 square foot penthouse is one of the most incredible houses we have ever worked on and just happens to be where our launch event is taking place in Edinburgh....

Only 24 hours to the first of our launches! Should be interesting, this is the first exposure of our new design range to the market, so we hope everyone likes it.
Liquidimagination chosen by Murray & Murray for a demonstration kitchen in AGA showroom, Perth
Murray & Murray are pleased to announce the completion of the new demonstration kitchen display at The Aga Shop in Perth.
The kitchen is hand painted in Valtti’s Furniture Paint which ensures robust protection to the cabinetry. The colours chosen were Gate number 1 from our Abstract collection and Chopin’s jacket was used inside the wall units.
Liquidimagination paint used in a project featured in Real Homes magazine (cover story) October issue
By reconfiguring the layout of their garden flat Jen McPhail and Ian Murray have created a contemporary apartment in a beautiful Victorian building. VALTTI’s Liquidimagination range of paints have been used exclusively throughout the property.
In the curved hallway a combination of Fountain White (Dadaist collection) and Steam Train Grey (Surrealist collection)have been used to create a light and airy feel. In the master bedroom, the dominant colour is Fountain White with one feature wall painted in Fresco, a deep grey from Liquidimagination’s Gothic collection.
This neutral palette of off-white and soft greys have successfully transformed the property into a chic and contemporary living space.

Judith Queree chooses Valtti Opaque for her external woodwork on her house in Jersey
Judith chose Valtti's Opaque exterior timber paint due to its high performance & durability. It is also a waterborne paint which works well with Judith's conservation work.
Judith has won several awards including BBC Gardener of the Year in 2000 and in 2006, won a Conservation Award for her work on her garden. The garden is open to the public in the summer months.

VALTTI showcased their Liquidimagination brand by displaying a revamped 1940’s military bike. The paint used was developed in Finland after the 2nd World War occupation to offer Finnish citizens a sustainable way to personalize left over army bikes. Born out of necessity, painting bikes has since become a Finnish tradition.
The paint chosen was “Elephants Nightmare” a colour from the new Fauvism 55 range due to launch next week.

Country Living Magazine select Valtti paints for their Emporium page on Country Colour
Country Living Magazine display Valtti paints on their Emporium page on Country Colour. The article explains that the paints are manufactured in Finland and have won several eco awards. Inspired by the colours of artists, they are available in several finishes, including a useful furniture paint.
